Epson Aqua Stadium

We decided to eat local and check out the Epson Aqua Stadium (despite reservations about animals in captivity). The show was pretty spectacular, with a large pool contining about 6 dolphins of different varieties thrilling the crowd with acrobatics.
But first, a blogging trade secret...

Blogging is easier in a Kimono. Ladies, avert your eyes.

..back to the show. We purchased plastic ponchos and sat right up front where the dolphins splash the crowd intentionally. They dove deep and launched into the air, spinning and slapped down drenching the first six or so rows.

There was also quite a decent aquarium with a huge manta ray (which is in the back of this photo).

Then it was home to bed for a relatively early night ;)
